How Loveland Asphalt Paving Works
Loveland Asphalt Paving builds, resurfaces and maintains asphalt driveways and parking areas in Loveland and the towns around it, from Berthoud and Johnstown up to Fort Collins and Wellington and east into Weld County. The work covers new driveways, commercial lots, overlays, patching, sealcoating, crack sealing and recycled asphalt drives.
Pavement along the northern Front Range fails in a predictable way. The Colorado Geological Survey lists cracked and heaved driveways as one of the most common signs of expansive clay, and Loveland averages about 47 inches of snow a year, so water gets into every crack and freezes there. A smooth new topcoat on a weak, wet base does not last. That is why every estimate starts below the surface.
At the site visit we measure, check slope and drainage, probe for soft ground and look at where the driveway meets the street. Inside Loveland, a driveway approach or sidewalk in the public right-of-way falls under the city's Minor ROW permit, and other work in the right-of-way needs a Major ROW permit, so we tell you whether your project reaches that strip and what it involves. Neighboring cities and both counties have their own rules, and we check the current version before scheduling.
Your written quote lists each part of the job: removal, base work, asphalt thickness, edges, sealing and any permit steps, with a price for each. Nothing starts until you approve it, and any change in scope is written up for your sign-off.
